Dammit, Slayers!

If you're not reading it already, read Slayers Evolution, it's bitchin'. I'm ignoring the anime because Lina lost her gar =( Then again, if you want gar Lina, read Hourglass (below)... I guess.

Oh! Maybe you can answer this question. Who's the silver-haired girl and what's her story? I saw a random picture of her a long time ago in an art book and never knew who she was. xD;

By the silver-haired girl, I assume you mean the one with the ponytail. That's Milena, 1/2 of a duo (the guy she tags along with is Luke) Lina and Gourry spend the second part of the series often running into. Many consider them a replacement for Amelia and Zelgadis, who leave earlier in the novels. She's a magic user, but I'm not sure if you want spoilers or not, so give me the go-ahead if you want more info =3

Then spoil I shall. Like I said, she travels around with Luke, and the two groups encounter each other frequently after they're first introduced. Eventually she is killed during one of their jobs, and since it was by neglect (she was poisoned and the only guy who could save her refused because they were protecting his enemy), Luke snapped. Which is kind of worse than most snapping, considering the guy has a piece of Shabby inside of him. From what I understand, the finale of the novels is Lina going up against Luke/Shabby. That's just a summary of what's with that, but you can read more here. They totally explain it better than me.

Aaah, okay. Thanks for the info! :D

I should really revisit the series sometime.

Hum, there's always reason for more Slayers! These new seasons are kind of a waste though. I mean, we didn't even get a crossdressing episode! What the hell good is Slayers if there's no crossdressing at all? I digress. The Revolution manga, while wonky looking and kind of blah, has better development for the new characters, and Evolution-R's manga and anime seem to be taking different paths completely. There have been a lot of worthwhile manga spinoffs for the anniversary, so that's cool.

The novels surpass all of it though, which is totally depressing ;_;
