You know, my 'Image' here at the university, among the groups that know who I am--the Asian Studies department, some of the Philosophy, Anthropology, Sociology, and History people, and the Nerd and Religious-Person communities in the greater Amherst-Northampton area--is pretty well-defined. I am reserved, highly intelligent, creative, sometimes a little childish (or childlike if we're being kind), religiously pious, with a bit of a dark-humoured streak and a penchant for being less than an optimal good time on Friday nights due to a combination of semi-Victorian standards and a place in the borderlands of out-and-out asexuality.
All of this is completely accurate. But that is not all there is to me.
Image what these people, who apparently tend to see me as some sort of bizarre cross between the Fourth Doctor and Ogasawara Sachiko, would think if they knew me like some of you guys do, and could see me dancing in my room to eighties cheese-pop right now.
