I used to feel the same way, but now I get it. I mean, I get some of them. For those people who actually want Kyoko and Sho to get together in canon, I got nothin'. But I know a lot of people who ship them in a weird way, in that they would be INFURIATED if they actually got together in canon, because no, obviously Sho is a horrible person and she should not take him back; but as the story goes on they make the CUTEST enemies, and they have tons of chemistry that they never had before Kyoko exploded into a rage-filled demon, and it is enormously fun to watch them whenever they're on the page together. As Sho becomes more and more hung up on her (while vehemently denying it, of course), you're just like, oh honey, did you seriously never progress past the emotional maturity of a five year old?
Uh, it's hard to explain. I ship Moko/Kyoko and Kyoko/Ren, but I, too, enjoy it immensely whenever Sho and Kyoko are on screen together, and enjoy the fic where they bicker hilariously and Sho pines without realizing that's what he's doing and that he's been doing that for as long as he's known her because he's never actually realized just what a treasure she was.
