Toudou Shimako facts

Oh, Shimako. One of the most universally beloved characters in all of yuri and you're not even granted a spot in the cast lineup of the Marimite live-action movie.

Now, I'm not saying it might be the case that Shimako's PURE ZEN PRINCESS SPARKLY GODDESS PERFECTION was simply too much for it to be safe or wise to include her in a picture with anybody else. Let it never be said that I'm saying that might be the case, because I'm not saying that might be the case.

I'm saying that's the case.

So, for Shimako to get some exposure, even if only bellzooks  will understand it given the venue, I present to you:

TOUDOU SHIMAKO FACTS, PART I OF HOWEVER MANY THERE END UP BEING!!!
  • Toudou Shimako reads to sick orphans in between playing melodica for all the greatest artists of to-day.
  • Toudou Shimako once put on a formal dress at the same time that the Duke of Wellington kicked the Prince-Regent up the arse. The result was Victoriana. ALL OF IT.
  • Before filming any given episode of Maria-sama ga Miteru, Toudou Shimako is injected with fourteen times the lethal dose of LSD. This is, of course, to reduce the calm sense of tranquillity and purity that she naturally radiates to levels that actually permit some kind of plot to occur.
  • Toudou Shimako crossed the road. Everybody maintained a respectful, worshipful silence and did not question her motives.
  • Toudou Shimako once worked as a meteorologist for the evening news. Every day she gave the same forecast: partly sparkly with a 75% chance of Zen.
  • Outer space exists because it has too much deference and respect to be on the same planet as Toudou Shimako.
  • Do you know why Baskin Robbins only has thirty-one flavours? Because Toudou Shimako doesn't like fudge ripple.
  • Toudou Shimako will attain statehood in 2014. Her state flower will be the mountain lily.
  • Toudou Shimako's personality is considered a form of psychological warfare through inducing a deep sense of inferiority in over fifty prefectures.
  • The sutras were originally collectively titled 'Toudou Shimako and Friends'.
SO YEAH.

(Should...should I post this on gardenofmaidens or is it too unrefined?)

sparkly things, girls girls girls, other fine programming, joy
