I've had something in mind to do for a while, and finally took the plunge over the weekend.
Some of you may know, or recall, that I have a B.A. in Theology. For some time I've wanted to revisit some of the class work I did at that time, in light of where I am (and who I am) now, and in light of the current world situation. I also need to sort out where I stand with my own church and my own beliefs.
This isn't a direction I want to go with this journal, so I have started a blog at
http://chinnereth.com. I invite you to come on over for a visit, if the subject interests you at all. Admittedly, the blog will be a lot about me and my own take on theology, religion, and other subjects as well, but I'm hoping someone besides me may find it interesting. An introductory post is up already, and I hope to continue posting at least once a week.
After I set up the domain name (and spent some money) I decided I must be crazy, as I don't seem to have enough time to do everything I need to do now, and here I am adding one more item to the mix. We'll see how things go. And I've been neglecting my journal here, along with all my friends here, and I will still post here--promise.
On another note, I caught the toe of my shoe while stepping off the curb this morning on my way to work and fell. I'm doing fine--just a bit sore and anticipating I'll be more so tomorrow. But my camera won't work. I haven't used it for a few days, and of course I had it around my neck when I fell. I'm hoping it just needs a battery recharge. And on top of that I'm stuck downtown as there was a bad accident on my usual route home which meant gridlock in the streets around work. It's just stating to clear out. I need to get gas on my way home and didn't want to be sitting in traffic and run out of gas. That would have been the (not so) perfect end to the day. So I'll just have to wait a bit to find out about my camera.
On a lighter note, I'll leave you with this:
