The hostess with the mostess'
So school is up and running, I think its going to be a fun year. I need to register for Jackie's dance class, I'm way excited. It was funny cause I had a dream about it and then I saw Jackie today (who scared the bageebgies out of me by honking her horn) so I finally got to ask her about it.
Anyway, I just got back from cabaret auditions. I think it went ok. I really just want to work with Michael one last time (tear :D) I put it in my head that if I don't get in its because God has other plans for me. There really are a lot of talented people at this school though. I wish nothing but the best of luck to everyone who auditioned, I'm sure they all deserve it.
I feel like I've been going non-stop for a lot of days now. But busy with fun stuff. Well, besides work which is where I am now, but work isn't so bad either.
Goodness "Noises Off" rehearsals are fun! Yesterday was funny because Maureen kept making fun of me, she was like "Every once in a while I'll hear this little giggle and it'll be Melissa in the corner laughing at other people's lines." I think the second half of Act 1 is even funnier than the first...it's non-stop running around one-liners! My favorite line so far is "What's that, Dad?" Tee-hee. I think our cast is great too. We're working well together already! Can't wait to start Act 2!!! (Its gunna be crazy!)
