smear campaigns finally over
Thank God the voting is over! I can finally stop watching all the smearing going on! That's all it was...smear/fear campaigns. Was anyone ever saying ANYTHING about HOW they were gonna do anything other than what was wrong with the other person. Now Bush is our President - and whether you like it or not - you have to support him. It's our country...you have to let go of all the animosity that people seemed to really have had. Isn't it interesting how most of the Western states voted Democrat yet the Eastcoast all voted Republican. If you're a Democrat - stop blaming Bush about everything - start blaiming your elected state senators. Or wait, stop blaming all together and DO something to change whatever you feel strongly about. That's what I heard soooo much of this campaign - complain, complain, complain and no action. I thought for sure Kerry would have won or at least kept up a closer race this election - I came in the path of soooo many in-your-face Kerry supporters. I even had someone yell at me after being on hold on the phone at work. Our hold "music" is an easy listening radio station and apparently while she was on hold she got to hear a Bush ad. *sigh*
