Thanks, Pythagore. It's nice to see you a bit more too ;D
I have realized something important: There is way too much good things in the world to read, eat, watch, play, drink, or otherwise partake in. Even if I just concentrate on the things that I like (i.e. falls into my categories of interest), I cannot have it all. And seeing how people are always churning out more (computer games, for instance), being creative and inventive all the time, it makes me feel kinda small. What can I contribute that will get noticed? Do I want to get noticed? Yes. But it seems my creative vision has insofar been too confined within human thoughts and norms, since I see parts of my work cropping up in new (and old, although I deny inspiration from these, since I usually pick something up which I never heard of before and go: Wow, someone stole my thoughts!) games, books, movies...
[Infinite monkeys with infinite typewriters...]
So, will I give in to apathy and sloth and just consume, or perhaps not even that come the realization that I cannot consume it all? To fall into stasis just because I have to do ONE SIMPLE THING? No. I will CHOOSE. I will CREATE. And what I choose to create shall merge into the unending stream of the new, to be treasured by a few, cherished like gems by those who find in them an ... echo ... of a kindred soul.
I have a slight smile on my lips. ;l
And Kyle, yes, all things are interconnected. Nothing can be fully isolated, since that would imply dropping it out of the universe altogether, disturbing the fine balance that the universe maintains. But just how much are things connected? In that question is the meat of the oyster.
Or I could just have a light fever and be rambling just to kill time ;D
Ah, the richness and depth of this sensation. To feel.
I Love Carrie. She is the pure flower that grows from the fetid compost of humanity. If we ever concieve a child together, it will be fearsome indeed. Oh, I know she is not perfect, and that is well. If she were (or if I were, for that matter), how boring it would be.
On the subjects of the Mundane:
School is okay. I'm far behind my classmates because of absentia, but I think I can make up for it if I put my mind and body into it. My body, though, seems to have other ideas, inviting infection and fatigue. But I will prevail. The feedback on my products so far has been gratifying. It feels nice to engage in social congress with the others in my class, honing my social skills away from the established norm of my usual social circuits. Heh, I heard the greeting from Michaelsmind to Zheer over the radio some time, and I nearly fell over laughing, just because it was someone I knew. People in my class looked a little funny at me then, but what the heck.
Taking up M:TG again seems to be a smart move, since it is intellectually challenging and fun, and it gives you something to do which is relaxed, and might be potentially rewarding. I'm thinking of participating in a tournament this sunday. A 2vs2 multi format which would give some interesting ways to play.
I used my somewhat restored biological clock this morning to go to the doctor's and get medicines for my cold, so I hope I can go to school tomorrow. I also did all the tests for STD's, since a nasty bout of chlamydia is rampaging through the more sexually liberal population of my friendship circle. Not that I think I have it, but better to have proof. And I could have a urethral infection, and that should most definitely be wiped out.
Now I think I have exhausted the subject matters available to my slightly grilled brain, so I will bid you all a good night.
