so now that i've actually seen the project runway episode nance mentioned in her post, i am sufficiently pissed off.
first of all, WHY THE FUCK IS VINCENT STILL ON THIS SHOW? other than the fact that he makes michael jackson look totally sane... do you have any idea how easy it is to construct a basic sheath (column) dress and then glue some shit all over it? any idea? it's like a couple of darts and a hem. and no, vincent, that's not "art" that's my second grade collage project walking (poorly) down the runway.
alison's dress may not have been the most flattering ensemble, but at least it was creative. and beautifully draped and constructed. how innovative and interesting to create a garment of pleats and wrinkles instead of a flat sheath of a bag. i'm just so angry i could spit. up until this episode i have never disagreed as wholeheartedly with the judges' decision as i did tonight, even in seasons one and two. i am tempted to write a letter i'm so mad. i mean, come on, i spend most wednesdays counting the minutes until project runway. i deserve a little quality tv goddamnit!
secretly though, i'll probably watch next week in the hopes that jeffrey and laura will claw each other's eyes out. it's coming. i can feel it.
