"Casual" dentistry?
Hey guys,
I've not been to a dentist for a few years (from having a regular dentist-orthodontist from five to 21), and now really want to find somewhere just to have a professional clean. I've been told that it may be difficult to just have a "one off" appointment, without covering all other aspects of past dental work, and just keeping it affordable.
Can anyone enlighten me on this? A no-strings-attached visit, for a good clean? And how much is this likely to cost? I'm not currently on any private health cover. I am, however, in possession of a Health Care Card (for now).
I'm in the East (Blackburn) if anyone has recommendations.
