Cheapish Toys.
I recently started a job working with children and it was recommended that we built up a bag of toys to help keep things interesting. Seeing as how I'm an only child and don't actually know any kids, I was hoping that someone in this community could point me in the right direction.
They are around 3-6 years and seem to enjoy things like puzzles, stacking/matching things, finger/hand puppets and textured stuff.
I was hoping not to spend more than $5 on each because we should have enough variety to rotate them out relatively frequently. Plus, I'm a cheap bastard. I'll be heading to Target and BigW to see if I can find anything interesting, but was wondering if anyone knew any stores that sold random things for cheap or secondhand that I could perhaps use. Oh, and in the cityish area would be best.
