I'm looking for a female housemate for my cozy ground floor flat in Glen Iris, and a friend of mine pointed me here because apparently this is where all the awesome people congregate :D
About the room: It's unfurnished, with carpet and a big built in wardrobe, roughly 3m x 4m (I think).
About the flat: 2 bedroom ground floor with a courtyard garden, close to shops, coffee, Gardiner Station and two trams into the city. Fully furnished, with cable internet and a fair amount of tech gadgetry about the place. Also comes with very friendly and cuddly cat.
About me: Mid-twenties female software engineer, bit of a geek and generally fairly quiet.
About the rent: $190 a week, $820 a month. $Bond is 925. Check out the gumtree ad.
