Out in the Party Field: Melba Took

Melba Took trots down to the Party Field carrying the kite Isengar gave her and starts running with it, letting out the lead slowly, as a wind takes it aloft.

Oh wow, this is going great! *runs smiling*

It's sooo beautiful and . . . fu . . . .!

*kite tangles in the Party Tree*

*climbs the Party Tree*

*reaches a little further, takes hold of kite, the branch creaks as she inches along it, pulls it free, branch snaps*

*holds onto branch as it collides with another that she also grabs onto, and hangs swinging, with the kite in her mouth, sees Ise run over, drops kite down to ground*

'm OK! I got the kite! *swings a little * Whoa!

(ah, I gotta get him some kids one of these days - he's such a dad; not my dad, but a dad)

You can, ah, come down now. Dont' want you to break a leg or get a nasty splinter that will eventually get infected and thus call for amputation the kite to fly away, do you?
