...Summer?
It went by too quickly.
Anyway, I got a lot of things done in the summer time that I wanted to get done: class, kappa booklets (which turned out amazing), random hang outs with my lovies, work outs, diet, Wicked, Harry Potter book and movie, theatre, etc. However, I have yet to go to Ren Faire. I wanted to go on Saturday (yesterday) but seeing as how I am right now, i can't. Brian promised me that Labor day we'd get to go.
Which brings me to my next point. In case you did not know, I broke my foot in two places and sprained my ankle. When I get hurt, I do it right aparently. I will have the hard cast/crutches until Wednesday and then get a removable one for 6-8 weeks. Then 3 months of therapy. My doctor told me that I could march on it a week after I get the removable one on. So. Yay. So, let me tell you how I did it. Well, the PI's for band go to a ropes course every year to build bonding, team work, etc before the rest of the band comes on Sunday. Well, before the course even STARTED, we played volleyball. I went for a saved, (got the save, btw), and came crashing down on my right ankle. I heard a pop and.. yeah. So they wrapped it at the camp and told me it was a sprain. Thinking it WAS only a sprain, I marched on it for a couple of days until I showed Bill Deml how purple it was. Yeah, both sides of my foot were an intenseeeee purple. I went for X-rays on Saturday and got my cast on Sunday. GRUMBLE. So that was my band camp.
I got pied in the face (Pie your PI) by Carol/Amy, Brian, and Jody. Each decided my nose needed some whipped cream in it. bleh. My sinuses hated it. lol I got to pie a lot of people. :)
I can't believe school starts tomorrow! :( Where did summer go?! FORREAL. I hope my classes aren't like last semester. Last semester hurt me. It really did. Hopefully my classes aren't AS intense, especially now because of my foot. Things that took 10 minutes to complete now take 20 because I'm extra slow on crutches. Ah, well. I have to go get books and stuff ready for school tomorrow, clothes and stuff ready for the first football game tomorrow as well, and stuff I need to throw at the freaking bookstore for changing my Ed Technology book AGAIN for the 5th time. ..... It's been a week. Oh, and Rocco... my beta fish died. :(
