WOMEN x WOMEN, premiering at LG Fashion Week FW '09, is a unique exhibit of photographic works on the theme of “women by women” by Canada’s most prominent and emerging female fashion photographers. The exhibit was conceived by several emerging photographers seeking community within the field, and further developed by a team of fashionistas who saw the possibility to create an event that would inspire Canada and the world with a fresh perspective on fashion photography.
The media and industry reception (March 19) hosted by In Fashion’s Glen Baxter will include light hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, a guest DJ, and offers guests the opportunity to meet and greet with the photographers behind the imagery. The follow-up public exhibition (March 20 & 21) will offer the public an opportunity to drop in and check out this exciting exhibition.
