I seem to have forgotten how to write fic longer than 500 words. My stargate_summer novel currently exists in a series of unconnected 200-word snippets. And I'm 3/4 done with my picfor1000 and it's only 400 words! I know the idea is enough for a fic of the right length; I just don't know what to add to pad it.

Help me, beta-Kenobi, you're my only hope!
