Let's talk books talk books.
1) Total number of books owned?
OK, here's how i figure. i have 31 books on an average shelf. i have 9.5 shelves. i also have about 7 boxes in the closet/storage of non-circulations. jesamin's got a few of mine, but i think i've got a few of hers too. Estimated total: 450-500. This is assuming that coloring books and journals don't count.
2) The last book I bought?
Diary by Chuck Palahniuk, Amazing Rain by Sam Brown.
3) The last book I read?
Hmmm. Last one i KNOW i finished was Appetites by Carolyn Knapp. There's one i'm forgetting. Currently reading The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis and Brass by Helen Walsh. OH!! also i finished Ashes of Roses by Mary Jane Auch, but it was work-related.
4) 5 books that mean a lot to me?
White Oleander by Janet Fitch (best, best ever), The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, Wasted by Marya Hornbacher, Something I expected to be Different by Joshua Beckman (poetry), The Sandman series by Neil Gaiman, also You Remind Me of You by Eireann Corrigan (poetry), and also Foxfire by Joyce Carol Oates and by the way i like books.
