I GOT A 3.508!!!!!! HELL YES!!!
I have been waiting for a 3.5 all year. That was my goal for the year and I'm so happy I finally accomplished it! I got all A- except for an A in history, a B- in English, and a C+ in Math. If I didn't have the C+ I would have honors. Darn. Speaking of honors 1) I got Cum Laude on the National Latin Exam, which successfully ruined my day because I was aiming for a silver medal, and 2) I somehow managed to get on the Honor guard for graduation, and I'm not really sure how. I didn't think 'anime club' qualified as a Honor Guard. Especially because it is a shit club because no one listens to me even when I provide them with DVDs and when I don't specifically tell them to be in the library after school on Thursday they don't show up. Gr.
So I went to the College Fair at Bayside Expo last night. It was crazy busy and I saw a ton of people I knew, or formerly did. I visited the tables for a bunch of schools including University of Oregon, Manhattanville College, Providence College, University of Southern Maine, Gonzaga Universtiy, Saint Anselm's, University of Maine in Farmington, and the University of Alaska in Anchorage. Interesting Facts I learned: I have automatic admission in the University of Oregon! If you have over a 3.25 (Note the recent 3.5) and have gotten above a C- in 14 or more college prep classes (All my classes are college prep and I have never gotten below a C in my life) you are basically in. Also, U Maine Farmington only accepts 16 Creative Writing majors a year, based on 12 pages of short stories. So, I'm still looking for people to tear them to shreads! Much appreciated.
