Destruction and Delight
Mmmm.
Applying for art school!!! EXCITING! It fills me with both fear and delight... ahh. And, honestly, I don't really... know where I'd rather go, or even what I want to do with myself after art school. Blah.
So, for everyone's great interest, here be the schools I plan on applying to:
ACAD (umm... Alberta College of... Art and Design? Yes. It's in Calgary, which means living cheaply with parents, but also... living with parents. You know. We'll see.)
Sheridan (OMG. Um, It sounds beautiful and wonderful, but is really ass far away [in Toronto-]ish. And it's HUGE!!!)
Sault College (It scares me a bit, but it has an illustration program that sounds glorious!!)
...Max the Mutt Animation School (Shady, yes. But... illustration and sequential art program!!!11 GLORIOUS DEATH)
Um... I have nothing of importance to say. I'm excited, and am pushing down the choking fear of rejection and failure. Yay! Honestly, I think living with strangers/alone in a big strange city would be worth it to be cool in art school. Gah... it fills me with hope and joy. And I just won't think about leaving my bitches and hos behind (that being my sister, sexy wrestler roommate [PH33E FACTOR 4EVAR], and friendlies, oh yes and my cat, which would DESTROY MEEEEE). YAY!
Durr... and my copy of Strangers With Candy should be arriving sometime this week. BUAHAHAHAHA.
