Well the Slimelight night was a bit of a washout as I was struck down with a bug while wandering around Camden. It may have been the cold, stress or a dodgy batch of sweet and sour rice, but I ended up with a throbbing headache and nausea for the rest of the day. So, we called off the night and went home early. I did manage to buy Katie a skirt in one of the markets, so it wasn't a total waste of time.

Since then I have recovered a bit. It took about a week to shake off the feelings of nausea. I have been taking it a bit easy preparing for my Plymouth trip this coming weekend. I am driving down on the Thursday and back on the Monday

I am having a little bit of a problem fitting in time to see everyone and spend time with Katie. I am running my ongoign D&D campaign with Ross and Adrian on the Sunday, then Katie (another one) and Adam want me to come visit them at some point and meet their new pet ferret. I am also making plans to catch up with Donna, who I have not seen in over 6 years.

I have yet to break this news to Katie, and I am a little unsure how she will take it. She does love to monopolise my time whenever I am around. Still, I am sure I will manage. It is a difficult situation however, do I invite Katie along and risk alienating Donna, or do I risk Katie's wrath by telling her that i don't want her there. Diplomacy's not really my strong suit. Hmmm, somehow I think I am not going to come out ahead whatever happens.

I have inherited a load of books and things from my friend Ciaron who is clearing the clutter in his flat. I managed to get hold of a nearly complete run of Terry Pratchett and a few Hellblazer comics. I also got my grubby mitts on his collection of Strangers In Paradise comics. Man, I love this series. It gets a little confusing and random at times, switching between times and events, but it sure does pull my emotional strings. I now need to grab some of the trades to fill in the collection, and hopefully I can get my hands on a few of the new episodes when I am next in St. Albans.

Anyway, that's enough for now. Until next time.
