"...and so you're back, from outer space..."
Yep, I thought it was about time I logged on again. I have been spending so much time in "Lala" land that it's not even funny anymore. My NCIS tapes are backed up to almost a month now, and I swear the neighbours are sniffing at the door wondering if that smell is my corpse rotting in the computer room.
I was down in plymouth again last weekend. It was Mike's birthday bash on the Saterday along with Rosie (mikes sister and Katie's flatmate) and Jim (another flatmate) who also had birthdays within a week of this event. So everyone piled into the Fort on Mutley plain fro a little live music and drinking.
I took Katie along, and even Tamzin turned up for this. Shockingly, Tamzin is now having a relationship (I am not sure how serious it is) with Daniel, Katie's brother, which leaves me feeling a little awkward. Katie is trying not to think about it, but as far as I am concerned, Tamzin seems happy so I say "go for it girl". It's all good.
Later on that evening, the four of us went to Black Catz in Good Companions. it was a pretty slow night, but the company was good, so I enjoyed it. Danced a little and drank some more.
The one amazing highlight was that I ran into Donna, from the old Charlies nightclub days, again. She seems great and has not changed a but. She is now a student again, working on Forensic Science and Japanese, two subjects that facinate me. So we sat and chatted for an age, swapped numbers and promised to meet up again. I am just glad to see her doing well, especially as I had heard that she was going blind. This is still the case, although she is wearing special glasses now and is undergoing some sort of treatment for it.
The next day was spoilt a little bit when I found that I had lost my wallet. After a frantic search and a trip to the police station I found out that I had left it at the club. I recovered both the wallet and all of the contents and was able to let out a sigh of relief. I swear that this must be my lucky wallet as I have lost it many times, but it has always turned up again, even washing up on the shore in Saltash one time. Anyway, I swore to be more careful in the future and have taken out most of the important documents contained within it.
Anyway, that was last weekend. This weekend is a quiet one before I have about thre weeks of hecticness, with the Coven on the 10th, another Plymouth trip on the 16th and Katie's birthday on the 23rd. She is coming up here and I am taking her out to Slimelight. Anyone wanting to join us on this trip is welcome. Just give me a shout beforehand.
So, I am hoping that this is the beginning of a new frequent updating regime and that I will post again in the near future.
