A lot of exciting things happened on my trip to Franklin. I went ice skating for the first time and am proud to say that I did not fall once!!!
Patrick's dad has a farm and he raises cattle on it. This calf had a birth weight of 85 pounds. The birth was painful for both parties which made the mother disassociate from the baby calf. Since the mother was alienated from the calf Patrick's mom and dad decided to keep him at their house until he is able to eat solid food. The calf bit off part of his tongue during the complicated birth so he cannot take a bottle. This means we have to feed him with a turkey baster. I have not eaten cow product since.
