A Monsoon Sort of Day
Yes, and the excitment keeps building....got to the grocery store (sun still shinning) and saw rows of bedding plants so thinking to do some more flower bed activity, picked up a couple of flats and into Giant Eagle I did go. A half hour later, it is a monsoon outside and me with tons of groceries and now plants I can't plant are ready to leave the store and guess who has no umbrella. Yep! You guessed it so I asked the check out person for another bag, this one for my head. In between giggles, she did give it to us thinking obviously that I am quite nuts, I stick it over my new do and off to the car I go. Thinking I probably look quite the thing, I decide all this deserves a trip to the wine store, go there (bag still on head), gather up my goodies and home I go. I get all the bags inside, it takes several trips in the pouring rain......I get in, shut the door and yes, you guessed it, the rain stopped. Now I am thinking the mower god has friends in the weather bureau but hey, it looks like the storm is coming back. I am all set, the dogs have been walked and fed. So its nap time!
