The strange, and the wonderful
Just had the weirdest dream. Well, it wasn't so much a weird dream, as a weird dream I had some time ago, and then had again today. That's the freaky part, I had almost the exact dream again. There were only a few changes in the dream, but mostly it was almost exactly the same - I know this because this is one of the few dreams that linger long after I've woken up, and then sticks in the back of your mind. It is safe to say that this was not a pleasant dream, but if I'd have to liken it to something of the horror/thriller/suspence-genre if you get what I mean.
I dreamt I was at home with my sisters and a few random not-quite-strangers, including someone who looked like Abby from NCIS... Yeah, she was new to the dream. Anyway, the whole thing was a invasion-scenario where we had to lock down the apartment and draw the blinds and everything because the freaky humaniod creatures attacking were drawn to light and loud sounds. I was the one in charge in the dream, and I had to make sure everyone was as safe as possible.
There was one part of the dream where I'm trying to barricade the frontdoor and through the peekhole we see people trying to flee down the corridor, and there's a woman going door to door, banging and pleading to be let in. This being after I've just all but sealed the door. Then there's a few of those not-quite-strangers with me, pleading me with their eyes to let her in - but I couldn't. I kept trying to make them understand that if I'd let her in, we'd give away our position and all the other people would try to get in as well and there'd be no way we could go unnoticed if we did that.
That's when I woke up, my heart beating like a drum. I could remember almost everything cleary, and I knew I had had that same dream before. Things were not made better that my alarm had gone off at the same time as the woman banging on the door in my dream. I pretty much startled away thinking 'oh no, our cover is blown!'.... Yeah, I told you it was weird.
Also, I got my chrismas gift from Niggsy yesterday (rather, I got it on Wednesday, but I by the time I got home the post office was already closed). I got 5 lovely pieces of chocolate and I ate one of them last night, and it was oh so yummy. :D
