How my week went from good to 'oh noes' to *ded*
Monday: Retouching of my tattoo - went well and was over in 30 minutes. :D
Tuesday: Recon of the new campus I'll be going to, as well as lunch with a friend. As we went with having Indian food for lunch, I ended up with a bit of a sore throat since I'm not so much for the spicy foods. Later on, I ended up going over to another friend for an impromptu sleepover. Also, I now have the Torchwood themesong as my ringtone... Not that anyone I know in RL would know it, but still. :D
Wednesday: Woke up with a really sore throat. Watched some of the Olympics, and then watched a bunch of 'Greek' episodes with middlesis - which was a pretty good show. :)
Thursday: Woke up feeling really crappy. Had a cold, and yet I still had to go to work - which was all fine and well, because I was well enough to do so. Unfortunatly, I also found out that Stargate Atlantis would not be continued. :( And that bummed me out really bad.
Friday: Watched some more 'Greek' with Middlesis before I headed off to work. Arsed about work, feeling kinda loopy. Got home and pretty much did nothing.
Saturday: Was at work, and it was hectic as hell, and just as warm too. Luckily, I thought ahead and wore my green cottondress - because I knew what to expect during the sale, especially during the first weekend when the weather isn't the best. For some reason, I'd gotten it in my head that I had Sunday off, and was therefore looking forward to a day of just relaxing and trying to get better. Unfortunatly, I looked at my schedule to see if I could find someone to cover my shift on Monday, and noticed that I was working on Sunday as well. You cannot imagine just how sad that made me. I was feeling so excided(as excited you get while having a cold), and then *wham*, it felt like I just crumbled up inside. I swear to god, I was so close to crying at that. I was just so tired. So very tired.
Watched me some Greek with middlesis when I got home, and then I finally managed to watch The Shrine - a freaking awesome episode! It was team-love all around, and wonderful acting. The news of the future of SGA made the greatness of The Shrine all the more bittersweet.
Sunday: Went to work, and since it was so lovely weather outside it wasn't as hectic and messy in the store. While at work, I noticed something. I coughed and sneezed a whole lot less while out on the floor than behind the register. Also, sales always make me think of those people who go 'why don't you like people' and how they too would dislike people if they were surrounded by grown people who act like they're 5 and have never heard of this little thing called 'common sense'. Honestly, how freaking hard is it to just hang up the coat you tried on on the hanger instead of just throwing it on top of the other properly hung up coats? Or just to hang whatever items you don't want once you get out of the dressing booth on the designated rack? For crying out loud, there's even posters in each dressing room asking you to hang out whatever crap you don't want, or can't be arsed to put back, so we can do it. >_>
Oh, I do hope that I remember to watch Supernatural now that the Olympics are over.
