In her Shoes
Went to see In her shoes after work.I needed something on the light side and that was light allright.Too many clichés:the apparently dumb blonde gets all the guys and the carrier woman has of course a terrible love life( like this guy said to me the other day:men don't like independent,intellegent women - I know some strange men,don't I?) and then everything turns out a little too well at the end,too perfect.
Though I must confess the e.e.cummings poem made me cry at the end.And the one about loss.
The book may be much better,but the movie did not make me the least bit curious about it.
