Won't be able to have dinner tonight. I'm still stuffed from all the japanese food I sampled this afternoon.
I registered for one of the workshops organised for the exhibiton Portugal-Japão 150 anos, today it was food from Osaka, where the teacher comes from.
There were just five of us, so it was really nice and cozy. The others had already been to previous workshops. We were taught how  to cook okonomiyaki, wich is a sort of cabbage tortilla, tonjiru (pork soup: very tasty but a bit too heavy for my taste because of the fatty meat) and japanes croquette (ground beef mixed with potato puree, rolled it egg, flour and bread crumbs and deep fried). We took turns preparing it and at the end we ate it all.
Well, not all. There was way too much food.
I enjoyed it so much I registered for next sunday (yeah, keeping my sundays free is really working out), since each week there is a different dish.
If you don't make it until mid march, she is planning to do more workshops in her home, as she used too.
