Read my "H" book for the ABC challenge: "Brave new World" by Aldous Huxley. That was a pleasant surprise actually. I had always been a little prejudiced about the book: I thought it would be dated plus it somehow seemed a bit puritan from the tv adaptations I'd seen. But I really enjoyed it even if I think the savage's world is a bit too radical, but probably it would have lost dramatic effect otherwise. And he was not far of from the mark in some things, the cult of youth for instance. Plus the translation was good, for once.
I have also been reading Kafka's short stories, but I ended up lending the book to R. without having finished. I love Kafka but it's not the best thing to read before going to sleep. And she wanted to read the ones on which Galeria 17 is based before we go to see it next week.
