Fifth Business-definition

Those roles which, being neither those of Hero nor Heroine,Confidante nor Villain, but which were none the less essential to bring about the Recognition or the dénouement were called the Fifth Business in drama and opera companies organized according to the old style;the player who acted othese pats was often referred to as Fifth Business.

Just so I remember why the book was called Fifth Business.Brilliant book!

Now I started Dario Fo's "Tricks of the Trade" (Manualle minimo dell'attore- which has about 400 pages ) and it's fascinating. There's a lot on the Commedia dell'Arte and improvisation and the classes I'm taking are very much based on improvisation)The annoying part is that it has all those references I now want to check.

And I started another Henning Mankell's book.I think it's called Sidetracked in English.

What else?

Went to see Pride and Prejudice today.Very agreable movie.I had trouble at first with Darcy because Colin Firth is stuck in my mind but then this one started to grow on me.I've always been a fool for these dark handsome men.
