Cold weather finally hits like a slap in the face
Well.... it's here.... It was absolutely freezing here this morning. Still is freezing.... the hard frost overnight did in most of my herbs and any of the other plants that happened to survive this long. Time to dump them from their pots and off to storage with them until next spring.
I ran out to the car this morning to grab something I left in it last night and when I opened the back door and took a step outside the air was so cold it actually took my breath away for a sec. Definitely a huge change from yesterday... lol....
At least I have one thing to look forward to soon! I'll get to pull my snowshoes and use them soon! Can't wait!
