i already agree with you on "pattern recognition" one of my favorite novels, chungking express one of my favorite films, an di love nyc and tokyo but i haven't been to shangkai yet (boooohooo) i've been to bangkok for msmun and i liked it and i've never been to chiangmai... i do plan on buying more foreign fashion magazines to broaden my scope, though for the moment i'm content to browse style.com..and i had an iced green tea tonight..which was good..but i wouldn't say it's in my top 3 drinks
my 3 favorite drinks-well the first three that come to mind
1. vodka for its effects, not for its taste 2. coffee (like the kind you buy yourself, grind yourself, "make yourself") with creamer and equal/aspartame/something equally carcinogenic 3. diet coke
also, i added you as a friend, can you add me back? i'm making this entry friends-only because i don't want my mom (She knows about this LJ) to know i love vodka.
-- Barton Fink, Ghost in the Shell Part 2: Innocence, Chungking Express
-- lots of Elliot Smith crooning, and Chet Baker trumpet solos, and Bach fugues, and Wumpscut techno-thrashes
-- et cetera, hmmm:
cities: NYC, Seattle, Shanghai, Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Tokyo
magazines: Vogue Nippon
drinks: red wine, green tea
that's a few...
