what day is it??
I think the cold weather is making me delirious...
Its freaking cold in chicago ... I really want to know what I was thinking when I decided that I could handle the cold weather ... cause I don't know if I can!!! Its -20 degrees today with the wind chill ... without it ... its 0 degress (WOOHOO)
Anyways ... I got in a car accident last friday ... NOT TO FUN... I was on my way to work ... I drove to work which I NEVER DO ... this was my first time to drive to work since I have been working for the company and I have been here for like 8 months .... soo I drive to work and Im a block away from the parking garage and I hit some ice and my breaks locked and I skid and hit the guy infront of me .... we both pulled over and he gets out and asks me if Im ok ... Im like "Im fine ... I ran into you are you ok?" he said he was fine ... scared the hell out of him ... but fine ... so I look at my car and say "well looks like I got some damage" he looks at his and says "mine already had a dent in it ... don't worry about it ... as long as your ok" ... again I was like "Im fine ... it was my fault" he said "yeah its ok no big deal dont worry about it" he gets in his car and drives off ... Im like .. OK well at least I don't have to worry about him .. I get in my car and go park it ... soo it still drives which is good ... I went last night to get an estimate on the damage ... about 715 dollars ... well I have a 500 dollar deductable on insurance ... so I only have to pay that ... even if they find more damage ... soo anyways im getting it fixed wednesday of next week ... we shall see how that goes ...
Also my telephone had been shut off last week .... called and found out that the bill has not been paid for 4 months ... becuase it was being sent ... well lets just say not to me ... soo I had to pay 250 dollars to get it back up and running ...
Lets just say .. I HATE MONEY ... MONEY is the root of all evil ... ALL EVIL ... and the WORST KIND OF EVIL!!
Other than that things have been ok ... School is going good this semester ... I like my teachers and I like the stuff that we are learning ... very different .. I am taking some inner city studies classes and ... well I am the minority and it is very interesting to learn about the inner city ... Im afraid sometimes that I am going to say the wrong thing .... I think that sometimes the teacher is afraid of saying the wrong thing because he doens't want to offend me ... but I don't take any of it personally ... and i hope no one in the class does either .. I really think it will help me though to better understand the students I will more than likely be teaching ..
Im still trying to find a ticket for Australia ... I really can not wait to goo .. My friend that went down there to stay for 2 months called me the other night and was telling me all about Australia and how much Im going to love it!! I can't WAIT!! he is at the beach everyday!! LOSER ... I am about to take a weekend trip somewhere down south just to get away from this cold weather ... ITS FREAKING COLD HERE!!!
Ok well I better get back to work .. today is pretty slow ... kinda bored actually ... ooooh well ... Latas
