The Future
Nov 03, 2004 00:26
Bush: ???
Kerry: ???
Apparently it's not over yet, the projected media prediction was:
Bush: 269
Kerry: 211
Ohio isn't done counting votes yet.
So in conclusion...
Bush: 249
Kerry: 211
Here we go.

I'd wager that Bush comes out ahead in Ohio, takes New Mexico, and thus the presidency.

Nah, the final county left is a heavy democratic county. I'm willing to bet my money on Kerry taking Ohio by the skin of his teeth.

He'd have to get a huge portion of the vote (3/4 at least I believe), and heavily democratic or not, I'm not sure I see that happening.

I haven't seen a certain stat yet on how many votes away Kerry is. But I'm sticking with my guns with Kerry all the way. It's still anybodys game of course.

Plus Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nevada, and Hawaii have Kerry in the lead for them. Ultimately it may as well be 269 to 269.

A tie would end up in Bush's favor, though.
It looks like it all hinges on Ohio and New Mexico.

Basically, but guess what?
CNN reported Iowa just recently reported that two of their voting machines are broken. Kerry had Iowa.
If Bush takes NM, that's ok for Kerry. Doesn't matter. Kerry needs Ohio yes. But anything can happen.
