My mom is in hog kong and wrote me this...
"We are staying in a Novotel hotel and they do not have CNN on their TV choices - only Fox News. I had no idea is was so bad. It really makes me angry and I'm sure my blood pressure rises as I watch it. I can't believe it is number 1 in the US. This is
supposedly the international version but I have only seen them cover international news once in five days when they did a little segment called around the world in 80 seconds. For example, this morning there was a mention that Al Gore has been nominated for a Nobel
Peace Prize (because of his movie). The only comment was that perhaps his swelling head would catch up with the increasing size of the rest of him. How is a juvenile comment like that justified on a news broadcast? They break to commercial with the line "The only news not filled with left wing bias." Arghh! "
