Sad news
We had to put my kitty, Chester, to sleep today. He would have been seventeen next month. His body just wasn't going to hold out much longer, and we had to do what was best for him. It was nice that today was sunny, because he got to hang out on the porch and get all grassy when the gardener came. :) When we took him to the vet, he got petted for about an hour before going peacefully to sleep.
It's sad that we can't see him anymore, but I know that God will take good care of him, and I believe he's having fun up in Heaven with Grandpa, Nanny, Alicia, Velvet, Daisy, Indy, Lilly, Willy and all his old friends. And I think we'll see him again someday.
