I had my first shift tonight. It was... um.. interesting. :P Had several people hang up on me as I was talking, but apart from that most of the people I called were pretty nice about it.
oh yeah, for anyone interested, I have a job at this market research company. We have to call people in the state and get them to take surveys for us, on behalf of our clients (big businesses in tasmania), so we can get feedback on stuff. Like tonight, we were calling for the road safety task force, asking questions about their advertisement campaigns.
easy work really... and damn good pay! :D so I'm cool with it all, hanging out on the phone and shit. 4 hour shifts, couple of times a week. woot for money!
I plan on buying an xbox when i get paid. *joy*
