so cross your fingers and wish me luck

i just submitted an application for the seattle times. the newspaper was looking for people (ages 18-35) to give their views and commentaries on the upcoming elections. some will be printed daily on the newspaper itself and all of them could be seen in the seattle times webpage under the title "backyard blog". now i don't know what you guys think of my writing (i admit i do have some bad grammars, word usage and spelling here and there) and i'm actually shy to announce that i applied to such a prestigious newspaper (i can imagine what some may think "she applied? she doesn't even write well" oooh my paranoia is setting in) but being a journalist has been my dream eversince i concocted my first "newsstory" in my head and translated it to a 8 piece "newsletter" i made out of bond paper for myself when i was 5. and to be accepted to this newspaper even for just a temp job will be a dream come true ... plus it'll be great in the resume in the future. and to think, if hired, i'll be paid to pretty much blog about my thoughts about the upcoming elections... that's is way cooler than getting five free movies a week.

so cross your fingers and wish me luck!
