Ze trip so far...

Well, it rained on us at least have the trip, though I lucked out and picked the half of the trip that wasn't raining as much. ^^; Lisa-imouto wasn't too happy about that, but it's not like I made the rainclouds burst. Anyway, got to see a lot of old friends and make a couple of new ones at church Sunday night. We saw Ms. Blake, a longtime friend of my aunt and uncle, as well as my family, and a lot of the other members that we knew said hi as well. We also met the new pastor's wife and children, but we never actually talked to him directly. That's something we'll need to do Wednesday. After church, we all piled into vehicles and headed to Casa Ole, which is a church tradition now. ^^ Tip to all traveling to Texas--Mexican food is best when bought out of the Piney Woods. But, it was good anyway.

Monday (which is still kinda today for me since I haven't gone to bed yet), we headed down to see my other cousin. We did putt-putt (I lost by 2 points) and went out to Fuddrucker's for supper with both cousins, their families, three church members who were in town for the week (I think), and two friends of my cousins. Niiiiiice big crowd. And, if you ever get the chance to try cinnamon ice cream, I just found another reason to love it! We all (minus the two friends) went to Maggie Moo's for ice cream. Their Cinnamoo Swirl was the best shake I'd ever had. ::drools:: It was soooo worth getting really, really cold over.

So, so far everything's going great! We've had a great time, and we've had fun teaching Alfred the joys of being in the middle of the woods. I hope everyone else out there is doing fine, and I'll be back Thursday night! ('cause we only have one vehicle out here, and Lisa-imouto and Alfred have to work that night) Ja ne!!
