A good night was had, despite the earlier unfortunate realization of the superficiality of acquaintanceships. After an incredibly slack day at work, I took the metro to MLK station and met up with the always wonderful Mr. Vick soli_deo_gloria. We went over to Sunset (dear god, someone burn it down and put a waterpark in its place..) and I treated him to the birthday dinner I owed him over at Sunset Tavern. Had an excellent pizza. Cute waitresses = mighty plus. Spent the rest of the time walking and talking. It was quite nice, as I always love being w/ Victor.
At around 11ish, Erik came to pick my jolly ass up. Hannah hannahharsh has called me up earlier, so I figured i'd go visit her at her new place. It's a really cute house over in Country Walk. Hung out there for a bit. Missed her. Watched Silent Mobius (some anime show). "Do it, Labia!" Haha. She needed to get up early and she and I were both passing out on the couches, so Erik and I decided to head out. We called up Waldo, who was luckily sitting in at a Portraits of Autumn practice at the studio. Got there and hung out the rest of the night. Quite nice. FREE RADIO! Mh hm.
I wish I was blank.
Now listening to the Tonight, Tonight single. This is probably my favourite of all the Aeroplane box set. Especially Medellia of the Gray Skies <3. *sigh* I need someone who can appreciate the wonderfulness of the Pumpkins, and understand why I would love this single above the others. Gaah. It just won't happen any time soon.
Unsure of what's going on tomorrow, exactly.. but i'm definitely going to watch The Lion King at the IMAX on Sunday w/ David, because I found out it's still playing and i've decided against attending Bright Eyes (no point when will be seeing him in Field Day Fest).
Which reminds me.. buying ticket tomorrow. Quite excited. :) So far, it's me, Erik, Jason, Chandler, Waldo, Pablo, and some other girl. Wooooo. Life is grand.
Perhaps will work on some photography tomorrow. Good idea.
Though at this rate, I won't wake up until 5pm. =\
