Okay, so everything didn't go exactly as I had planned out so carefully in the last entry, but hey. You can't control everyting. Friday night we did indeed go to club hell. However, me being an idiot and all, I completely forgot that Miko's closes at 9. So that was a dissapointment. We ended up going to the club really early which was kind of loser-ish but it ended up getting us a round of free drinks from the bouncer who saw us all lined up on the couch and probably felt bad. So that night was...interesting. I got harrassed by the prince of providence all night and mary and amanda made out, much to my dismay. I ended up spending the last hour or so of the night on the couch by myself and just watching everyone. We left early.
Saturday night was much more fun, though. I can't really remember what I did Saturday during the day. I think I fought with Evan for a while then I worked from 5-8 and then I headed out to the party, (a much needed break). I ended up having to put my tights on in the car in the Dunkin' Donuts parking lot, which I can tell you...no easy accomplishment. And I did my makeup in the bathroom there. Some poor person must have had to urinate desperately because they kept pounding on the door trying to get in. "Occupied," I cried, leisurely applying eyeliner and mascara. Mwahahahahahah...
So, got to Erica's, knew almost no one there, and found out the absinthe had been stolen. I wasn't sad for long, though. Somebody pulled a giant thing of rum out the freezer, poured me a drink and before you knew it, I was invading the "Man Room", as well as vandalizing their sign. I flirted a bit with this incredibly tall kid (6'10" Ben) and then Amanda went all moony on him and I gave her free reign and my blessing for their future, and inevitable, coitus. This party was the first time I've ever seen Alex drunk, and I have to say...I like it. He's incredibly opinionated, loves to dance, and to fight. Overall, a good show. Although, the scary "tank" music he put on wasn't sitting well with me.
Around 11:30 or so David showed up, (as I had wheedled him into spending time with me, luring him in with a fancy dress party), and so we got to hang out and drink together. For someone who claims he's not very social he handled himself very well. OH YES! I forgot to write how I got attacked by giant Jim, Dan and McManus' roommate. Well, not so much attacked, but picked up in a bear hug, given a kiss on the cheek and told I was a darling. And McManus has invited me to an end of the year party at their place on the 13th. So I'll probably be hitting that up after work. Nice boys, good times. So, yeah... David and I got to hang out most of the night, talk, and bullshit. Y'know, manly bonding and such in the man room. He told me I had a nice nose and I complimented his hands. All in all, a lovely evening. I ended up having to crash at his place because Amanda was otherwise, ahem, "engaged" and he was nice enough to let me impose on him. Thank you, David! So we got to talk more before sleepy time and then I skidaddled off to my sister's birthday and he went to work on some papers. A nice weekend.
Yesterday was the last day of classes and also rather a shitty afternoon for me. I went home after classes were over and Mary, Amanda, and I hung out and started getting ready for work. I got some stuff together to cook because David and I had plans to hang out and watch ghost world. Well, apparently the ex didn't like that too much because he informed me that I shouldn't expect to come home last night. Meaning, he would lock the deadbolt along with the regular lock. So he gave me about just enough time to get my stuff together for work and grab clothes for the next day and I was kicked out. So I went to work in tears and uncertain of where I was going to spend the night. Fun, fun!
Now I"m at my parents, haven't been able to reach him to find out if it's okay to come back tonight and start getting my stuff, and haven't been able to reach Amanda, who I was supposed to go job hunting with. Also, awkward explaining to my mom why I was on her doorstep this morning asking to crash. But luckily she let me just sleep and I promised to explain later. I love my mom. Right now I"m going to go take a shower and figure out what the hell I"m going to do.
I love you all. I'm coming back to Charlestown to be with my friends and family, the people who matter. For everyone who has ever been a friend to me, I thank you. Your kindness means the world to me.
