Did I mention?
I got the job, training starts april 12th. Cant' say a lot of what its about as I don't know yet, training hasn't started :P its in a call center doing customer service.. from what I understand, its taking billing questions/complaints from AT&T customers. I know absolutely nothing else, thats the extent of what I was told... To be frank, I was grateful enough to be offered the job that I didn't care enough to ask questions beyond clarifying how much sales is involved (aka, if someone is bitching about going over their minutes, I would suggest they upgrade to a plan with more minutes. essentially soft sales, and according to the girl I know who already works there, the quota is pretty low. They don't push it, its just part of the job.)
that should cover all the questions, I have no answers beyond what I've just stated. No 3rd degree please.
so now I've got a few weeks of vacation to just hang out, try to get some writing done and such, looking forward to getting back into work again. Not to mention, we can look at trading up to the 2 bedroom after all, it'll just be another couple of months of suffering through current conditions (not that its a huge suffering, I just get stir crazy being constantly thrown in with other people, not having anyplace of my own to retreat to... I NEED my own room before I flip out over something irrelevant. Long hot baths aren't enough, as we're in a 1 bedroom apt I'm still aware of other folks as they may need the bathroom... so I don't even get solitude and relaxation there :(
Still want it to get warmer so that I can take the velociraptor (Gretchen, the boxer doggy who flails with her paws, adorableness) for walks. Need a new mp3 type thingy as my old one is deaddeaddead, then I can start downloading music and audio books again... may even put that as a smaller frivolous purchase when I get my first couple of paychecks... I miss music, and I miss my walks... but most of the time when I need out of the house is night time, and apaprently its not a safe area to go walking at night :(
