Rhino, I love you!!
So the Sister Collective, her hive and I all went to see Bolt tonight. sadieloree and I laughed the whole way through. Rhino, the Hamster, is the best part of this movie. I mean, the whole thing was fabulous and if you have kids, GO!! Take them!! It's so much fun!! But I don't think Ella found the hamster nearly as funny assadieloree and I. She and I were laughing so hard we were practically hyperventilating. And the only reason I know we weren't is b/c we didn't pass out.
We totally predict a surge in hamster sales this Christmas.
The story was cute, a bit predictable for the adults, but hey, we're a Disney nation. We know how it works. The humor was great. If anyone has ever seen the pigeons from Animaniacs, expect something similar.
It's awesome. The animation- well, do I really need to on about what an amazing job they do? I mean, the little quirks of the pigeon's movements and the sheen of the feathers when they are in the light... more detail than you'd expect in a kid's flick.
But Rhino... oh my sweet Rhino... can I take you home?!?! You're just so... b-awesome!!
