We can talk about the weather.
The ITCZ has dumped an amazing amount of rain in our direct region over the past few days. There was widespread flooding and thousands of commuters have been stranded in the capital much less the rest of the affected areas. I'm really glad that my sister is not going through that commute anymore.
We are doing some renovations and the drainage in our yard is screwed up - water is coming into the house when there is heavy rainfall - only to flow through in a small rivulet straight out the other side. Pissed me off.
More thunder storms to come, but the relentless heat has let up. We who are only peripherally affected by the flooding can enjoy some aspects of the weather. The rainy season seems to want to go out with a bang...or you know, a crash of Thunder.
