( ) Party rentals booked (plates, champagne flutes, chairs, etc) -- Have to visit them on Saturday

Got a notice letting me know that we will be receiving our stimulus checks by 7/05/08. Yeah. So they wasted an envelope, a letter, and a stamp just to let me know that my check will be coming within the next 4 days. Umm, OK. That seems like a waste. Why not just have put the check in that envelope and made all parties involved happier? Oh, the silly government....
Other than that things seem to be moving along swimmingly. Jason is still looking for a job. He really needs to get one soon, b/c although we're making it, we're still just making it. I had hoped to at least be close to having our credit repaired and some semblence of savings tucked away for a down payment on a house, but that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon. I may get a 2nd job again just so we can save up again which will suck MAJAH BALLS.
