I can't believe it's already October. My brother is getting married in three weeks! The bachlorette party was last weekend and it was pretty fun. I got the bride a man in a can and he was our escort for the rest of the evening. So we went dancing around Denver with Ramon the mini blow up man. It was awesome.
I have a date for the wedding. It's the boy I finally worked up the nerve to talk to. His name's Bryan and it's scary how well we click together. He really is everything I want in a boyfriend right now. His only downside so far is that he's extremely busy with school and work, but it works because so am I...and I'm not clingy so it doesn't bother me when I don't see him all the time. He's completely open about how he feels too and he communicates well.
We just started hanging out about 2 and a half weeks ago and it's still in the beginning stages of a possible relationship, but a few nights ago he told me exactly what he thought of the situation. He was completely honest about his schedule limitations and he explained how he likes me but he also wants to be fair in giving me enough time with him to have a healthy relationship. He told me how picky he is about girls he even considers dating and how much he really likes me. And he said he wasn't sure where I stood on the matter. So I told him I have the same schedule crunches and how picky I am too and I explained that if we both feel the same way then I was definately up to attempting the dating thing. I told him how I don't have much spare time either, but I don't need much especially since I don't want to rush into anything and I think not spending all my free time with him will help us to take it slow and develop an appreciation for the time we do get to spend together.
It's just crazy how easily I was able to talk to him about all of it. So we'll see what happens. I must say though I haven't been this giddy about a boy in a long time and actually felt like it could become a good thing for me. Maybe my luck is changing.
On another note...it is a gorgeous night in Colorado and my friends are on their way over cause we're all gonna go for a night hike. Yay for living on a mountain:)
