Happy thingymahbob stuff: Rule : For 8 days you have to post something that makes you happy that day. Tag 8 people to do the same.
Idk... I planned out more of my original fic and stuff, otherwise today was very meh. XD I SHOULD BE DOING HOMEWORK RIGHT NOW. DX
Oh, but I don't feel so stressed about that crush thing. He's moving again and he has a girlfriend now so it's like, 'Whatever, move along!' so back to 'wow, I'm STILL single' for ages. ROFL.
Oh, oh, IDEA!
There are a group of people called Tree Hunters. They stop trees/plants aka nature from creating still circles and attacking/killing people. Nature does this because its pissed off at people in society destroying nature (cutting down trees, clearing forests, hunting animals, etc) and basically the hunters stop nature from letting loose and killing people.
Still circles are basically spaces in which everything is frozen, even time has stopped and nature (aka trees and plants) can move about freely and attack humans (sort of a revenge - they're following Mother Nature's bidding. More on her later if can be bothered). Tree Hunters are given powers when they are attacked by nature and survive the attack.
Tree Hunters have the power to put repel leaves on the trees to stop them from attacking. Tree Hunters are regarded as the balancers between humans and nature. People aren't really aware of Tree Hunters nor about nature attacking - it would be a completely disaster if everyone knew, would probably cause some crazy war and destruction (there's hundreds and thousands of Tree Hunters set all around the world) who sort out nature and stuff).
These repel leaves only have a lasting effect and how leaves fall from trees, the repel leaves do as well and when that happens, a tree is able to attack again. So it's a continuous and neverending process that the Tree Hunters go through. When people get killed, their existence doesn't get replaced but to normal people, after still circles, when someone is attacked, it seems like an instant flash happening before their very eyes, which causes major confusion and panic. Victims tend to end up dead or near-dead too.
Tree Hunters can also erase memories. There are few that nature would never ever hurt and those two are Mother Nature and 'Nature's Child'. So that's like the background info and the basis of the story. The plot centres around a teenage guy named Tsuchiko Kimura who was left at the doorstep of the Kimura family, a family who works in deforestation (aka they clear forests and stuff so society can move in and extend cities, etc). Tsuchiko unknowningly is the child of Mother Nature, made to live in society so he'd see how disgusting humans are and grow up with the same hatred that Mother Nature has for humans. But instead, he grew with a lack of caring for nature and became more a very modern teenager who loves technology like crazy, His opinion on nature, global warming, etc? He thinks it doesn't concern him. His personality? Think Steph's, I guess if you wanted a comparison. XD
Anyway, Tsuchiko grew the opposite to how he was expected to. This is partly because the one who was supposed to be watching over him, a guy named Tohru, he didn't exactly make sure that things went right. Tohru lived as a forest boy, growing up with the rare Mother Nature and was there when Tsuchiko was born. Tohru swore his loyalty to Mother Nature but deep down, he wanted to be part of society which is why Tohru offered himself up to be the one to stay in 'that horrible human society' and watch over Tsuchiko. The truth really was that he wanted to be part of it, sensing that nature was decreasing in importance and that in order to survive, he'd have to join the stronger race, Tohru believing that the humans > nature. XD
Anyway, one day, Tsuchiko is simply continuing his day to day life when everything freezes up aroudn him and he's completely like, "WHAT THE HELL?" Tsuchiko's in a still circle and he can see the trees around him slowly moving and he can hear murmurs and he's completely freaking out because in still circles, nature is faster than any normal human. A tree is about to attack someone and when Tsuchiko goes to defend, the tree retreats back (because nature won't ever harm 'Nature's Child'). He's still insanely confused at what the hell is happening when he sees some petals flow about the trees, causing them to move back into their original positions and some leaves shot at the trees causing them to be still and stop attacking.
The next thing he knows is that this teenage girl was the one who stopped them from attacking. She seems surprised at how Tsuchiko is able to move around in the still circle but when she turns the still circle off and causes things to be back to normal, she acts like nothing happened, causing Tsuchiko is be like, "OKAY SOMETHING MAJOR HAPPENED I NEED AN EXPLANATION FAST!" So he talks to this girl and learns her name and title. Her name: Manami Asakura and her title: Sakura no Mai.
Manami is a Tree Hunter and she basically explains to him what's going on with the whole 'Society VS Nature' going on. Tsuchiko is kinda in disbelief but decides to go with believing the story after seeing it in action. He still doesn't understand why he didn't get attacked while Manami's kinda suspicious about it all and when she learns that he's the son of the people who own the deforestation company, she decides to keep an eye on Tsuchiko and his family, thinking that because it's getting into Autumn season (which is when trees are most dangerous), something bad could come up. From there, the next incident that Tsuchiko gets caught up in ends with both his adoptive parents getting killed as well as others who worked for their company.
So Tsuchiko is then offered to live in the Tree Hunter mansion in his city. In every city/town, there is at least one Tree Hunter house/mansion where all the Tree Hunters in that area live. From there, Tsuchiko begins to learn more about Tree Hunters, different kinds of people, both sides of the Humans VS Nature thing and other stuff. That's kinda the basic plot.
And well, the main characters are Tsuchiko (you already know a bit about him),
Manami Asakura (the main Tree Hunter in the fic who hates humans AND nature but loves the ocean, there's kind of a story that goes with that. She's pretty ugh towards most things and is very opinionated and well, would have a nice personality if she didn't hate on so many things cuz she does have good qualities but she doesn't make use of them often. Oh and her number one target to eliminate is Mother Nature who she believes is the biggest whiney bitch of them all but also states to Tsuchiko pretty blatantly that if she couldn't get Mother Nature, Nature's Child would do instead - which is bloody ironic as Tsuchiko = Nature's Child, but Manami isn't particularly aware of that either),
Tohru (cute guy who is the 'if ya can't beat 'em, join 'em' type. He loves nature for having raised him and keeping him alive but he also feels that as a human, he belongs with the human race rather than nature. And he's been so long with the humans that when Mother Nature's minions catch him - there's some assigned to capture Tohru - he's basically in deep shit for being a betrayer),
Stacey Inoue (Tsuchiko's girlfriend who loves nature but doesn't know about the Tree Hunter and 'Nature attacks' thing. She is dating Tsuchiko but secretly has a huge crush on Manami. So Tsuchiko kinda has this idea that 'Stacey > Tsuchiko < Manami, it's more Tsuchiko > Stacey > Manami. Hell yeah, Stacey's bisexual. XD),
Aisu -that's his nickname, his real name is Daisuke Iwata- (Tree Hunter who saved Manami from dying in the attack that made her a Tree Hunter - oh yeah, Manami hates Tree Hunters as well, I forgot to mention that. XD Aisu comes across as a laidback, does whatever he pleases type who gets on the nerves of others but is also a friend to the gang but he's the first person to know about Tsuchiko's real identity, so he gradually makes a plan to set everyone against Tsuchiko as a way of driving Mother Nature out) and...
Naohito Akaku (Tree Hunter who resents nature. He's kind of... the idk... resident bad boy? XD Yes, I have to have a bad boy in there. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, Aisu's Tree Hunter title: Hyorin Katana, Naohito's Tree Hunter title: Hono no Ryuu. Anyway, Naohito is one of those 'extreme nature attackers' of the Tree Hunter and he basically goes round burning everything - but cleverly, he ain't getting caught by police or anything.) And uh...
that's probably the shortest summary I could give you? XD Some aspects sound pretty crack but uh, tell me if it's good so far?
