Hello World,
Well there is really nothing new here. I spend a lot of time by myself and I'm extremely homesick. I hate this god-awful place and can't wait to move to San Antonio. This summer semester is almost over. We take finals on Tues. of next week.
Lately, I've been a caffeine junkie. I've realized that I can get by with drinking a few coffees and less sleep.
We did a mock experiment last week. It was a practice run so I could get used to the instrument that we are going to use. It was fun. We were measuring the dissolved oxygen in river water. We found that in order to get a stable reading we will need a mixer with a magnetic plate to stir the water so that the dissolved oxygen can be equally dispersed.
We are going to run another trial Thursday.
We are almost done with the application process at Chase Hill Apartments...so hopefully we will get approved...otherwise we will have to live out of my car *LOL*.
Oh yeah, the program that allows the high school kids to come to Panam is a joke! They can not behave themselves. Today they were bouncing a basket ball in the lounge and throwing a tennis ball back and forth in the lounge. They act ghetto and eat like pigs. There is always food all over the place and they sit on the counters in the lounge when they run out of chairs. Who wants there smelly asses on the damn counters. They are so inconsiderate. One guy had the nerve to ask me (in his ghetto-slang-voice)"Can you cheat in college?" I almost had to ask him to repeat the question. What kind of idiot even asks a question like that.
If these kids are planning to come to pan am then i'm glad I'm leaving.
sorry to end this journal with a negative tone, but I just need to vent or i'm going to throw a desk at one of them.
