Because I have nothing better to do. So I picked up a book and started reading it.

Melanie didn't bother to shut her laptop before rolling off her bed and heading to the upstairs living room.

She hurriedly threw a handful of Floo powder into the fireplace and stepped in, calling out "Nott Mansion!" as she did so.

ooc: ....You are back to your own house, right? O.o

Gabi lazily walked into the living room as she heard someone land through the fireplace.

"Hi Mel," she said, stopping in the doorway and crossing her arms over her chest.

"Yello," Melanie replied with a mild grin, brushing some ash off her sleeve.

"I'm guessing you're as bored as I am?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

[gabriella__]

"Unfortunately," Gabi said, stepping into the room. "And there isn't much to do around here to alleviate that. You'd think that Theo would be of some help with keeping occupied, but he really isn't."

She sat down heavily on the sofa. "So maybe we can come up with something to do?"

[mel___]

"We should," she said with a nod, taking a few casual steps as her gaze travelled around the room.

"Any particular sort of 'something' in mind?"

[gabriella__]

She gave a light laugh.

"If I had anything in mind, I probably wouldn't be sitting here with nothing in mind."

[mel___]

"Hm, point," she said, crossing her arms lightly.

"Well then. To be honest, I'm just as clueless, so we'll have to start from scratch."

[gabriella__]

Gabi nodded. "Scratch. Right. What kinda stuff do you like to do? Cook, clean, paint, sleep?"

She rubbed at her eye as she looked up toward the ceiling. "Write, frolic, eat, swim...?"

[mel___]

"Frolic, huh?" she asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Frolicking can be fun."

[gabriella__]

She laughed again.

"It can be, if you know how to do it correctly," Gabi said, crossing her legs and leaning forward so that her elbow was propped against it, her chin in her palm.

"You can sit, by the way."

[mel___]

Melanie smiled her thanks and took a seat on the couch, folding one leg beneath her.

"Okay, so...we can frolic. We could eat, too. Is it possible to frolic and eat at the same time?" she asked curiously.
