Yow. That blows. Sometimes I can fake it out with naproxen (my theory is that the muscle relaxant side effect breaks the vicious cycle), sometimes I just have to wait until I can get some sleep.

I find that ibuprofen + acetaminophen, followed by something to relax my neck and head muscles, sometimes does the trick. Have you tried the hot tub?
