Got caught in the middle of the East Coast blizzard...
There is a thick blanket of snow covering everything. Not just the grassy ground but the sidewalks and the roads. Nothing is going to be cleared for awhile. The bad thing is that I should have done a grocery run BEFORE the storm hit. But the baby has been sick all week as have I. I didn't want to drag him out into the cold with me. So, now I am trying to figure out what dishes can be made with the food that is in the pantry. There are quite a few canned vegetables. Maybe soup? I am also making a loaf of bread right now before the last slice was eaten yesterday.
Don't worry, we are not at the Donner party of no food. We are just going to have to be creative with what we have. Luckily, the baby has plenty of food. He is the only one to have an abundance.
